GOD COSMOS AND ENLIGHTENED WAY

MAN:

       Lately I get a surreal feeling in living on Earth as one of the billions of human beings inhabiting the planet together with millions of other species animating its biological life. The varieties of life and its spread over the globe are explained by the evolution and mutation of genes, the complex molecular structures hiding the codes of formation, growth and abilities to survive the challenges of the climates and resources available on Earth. Subsistence and survival of one life demands annihilation of other life. Life, which are less evolved in order to protect itself from the predators, are doomed to be consumed by the more intelligent and powerful ones.  It seems to be the most natural condition in which all  life flourish.

       It creates a surreal feeling when one thinks about the vastness of the cosmos in which Earth revolves as a planet around a star which is one of the hundreds of billions of stars forming a galaxy. There are billions of such galaxies populating the universe. In a universe where a star like sun is meaninglessly small, and  whose smallness is beyond the capacity of human mind to comprehend, the life on Earth appears surreal and absurd! The life of billions and trillions of living creatures, who teem the biosphere, constitute our immediate universe, where we are engaged in our struggle for survival and continuation of the existence of the specie to which we belong.  

       We have developed languages, knowledge and methods of communications which help us to coordinate, cooperate and assert the will to live and win over the contending powers which may threaten the basis of our survival. The methods adopted through millenniums and the knowledge passed over from one generation to the next have helped us to find premises of living which may appear secure and comfortable to us. In that sense we are no more than any other animal on Earth, who happens to exist  in the vast universe as something insignificantly small and meaningless. Not only the annihilation of all life on Earth, but the whole planet, even the star, even the galaxy itself to which the star belongs, won`t bring any noticeable effect in the universe. The whole will still remain in it`s eternal course without noticing the disappearance of a world, which is so vast for us humans.

      It seems so absurd that we exist in this universe and are so deeply attached to the reality of life - both intellectually and emotionally. Our visions and perceptions excite us; our mind flies beyond the realm of what we see and feel; we seek an answer to the questions: why do we exist? Everything appear so real and deeply entrenched in our existence that we can not believe in any other reality than what appears so real to everyday life! It is difficult to conceive that this reality is constructed by our mind, which could be illusory for some other creatures used to different sets of methods of observations and thoughts. It is our thinking which creates nearness and closeness to the reality we perceive. By changing the thinking, based on learned knowledge communicated through languages, which one has adopted in order to exchange

experiences and views, one may experience domains of new realities. By exploring domains not yet accessible to knowledge and beyond one`s realm of experiences, one may find domains of reality which may appear absurd at the present circumstance. Absurdity or reality are concepts based on levels of delusions one lives with. The objects in the world creates the frame where mind weaves its delusions - a sort of awakened dream. When awake the mind sees the world through these glasses of delusions, which we have inherited from our predecessors. May be, reality is nothing but a cocoon of our own creation.

       It is amazing that the activities of  life are conducted in manners which appear so real inside this cocoon - as if eternally decreed by the universe! We do not question that the activities and thoughts of the moment, when we are living,  can be elusive and false and could have taken totally different meanings if we had chosen to look at the reality in different ways. We chat, exchange views, engage in emotional outbursts, hate, love, deceive, do sacrifice, sink in despair, fall in conflicts, feel suffering or  get excited in joy of triumph and success, depending on how we relate ourselves to others in the context of the reality we have constructed. Those who do not see ones`own roles in creating the reality of life  experience it as unchangeable monster which has encroached upon life from outside. Then the reality becomes an unsurpassable truth, which binds one to life at every step one takes. Is it our mind, which is the source of this mess?

        What is this mind which is the source of illusion, delusion and reality?  What does attach the mind so deeply to emotions -  whether they are false or real? What is this wonder which makes us feel so comfortable and secure in experiencing life as real and believing that this is the only reality which exists for us? Who has implanted this mind in the creatures, who are so infinitesimally small in the universe? Is there any right way to think and experience the existence on Earth, or are we all destined to create our realities ourselves according to what the conditions of survivals may demand? Is there any meaning beyond existing and surviving in an entangled world where all are seeking nourishment of survival? How shall I penetrate the mist of delusion and be able to gaze at the world which lies outside myself?

ENLIGHTENED MAN:

        The way life conducts itself on Earth through competitions and struggle is nothing unique for the creatures on this planet. Life anywhere in the universe must follow this process of annihilation and regeneration in order to keep things existing as parts of an eternal body which maintains its rhythm and motion. What one sees in transient life, which faces challenges of survival in the face of the presence of the rest of the world around it, which is also engaged in the same effort to maintain its existence, is the fundamental aspect of existence of life. Annihilation is the source of regeneration. Once things may take birth they must die in order to renew the cycle. These cycles bring evolution of things towards higher and higher levels of existence. One which starts with darkened state, where forces of nature condition the movements of things, may evolve to encompass higher and higher functions of a will, which detaches itself from the bondage of the material forces. Thus mind emerges as a power of freedom with which one may navigate one`s course of life amidst the world embroiled in struggle and competitions. More evolved the mind, more power it possesses to experience freedom from the bondage of the world dictated by the forces which move the material system.

       The reality of life is experienced according to the power of the mind to project its capacity to unfurl the working mechanisms of the world and situating one`s own will at the center of activities of life. More evolved mind does not follow the dictates of the reality, as given and fixed entity to which one must submit to. Instead, the reality is realized as a process of self-awakening and movement of freedom of the mind in the world. Something, which once may have appeared real, when mind was still covered in the darkness of ignorance, would appear surreal when mind has attained a higher state of awareness. It is the unfoldment of the mind which unfurls different experiences of reality. So it is true that the true experience of reality arises from within the human mind.

       But you want to know how mind, which is the foundation of the experience of reality, has risen and how do the humans possess the mind that they possess? Is mind present everywhere in the universe? You should know that mind is a state of evolution of things in the universe. More things evolve following the forces of the nature and transcend to the stages when freedom becomes an inseparable element of the process of existence, mind emerges in the world. This is built in the way the things in the universe must evolve. The mind appears from the world, and takes its own existence outside the sphere of the law-bound world as freedom, which inspires life to detach itself from the dictates of the material world, and instead impinges the power of the will to readjust the reality of life. There appears a contradiction between the world and the will i.e. bondage and freedom. This contradiction is the essential dynamics behind life in the universe.

       What you experience as a earth-bound creature will be the same wherever life may appear in the universe. The movement of the universe is from matter to mind, and mind impinging on matter to restructure the world, which in turn becomes a new ground for the evolution of mind. It is a synchronous process where both move. Without the movement of the one the other won`t exist. If the material world did not exist, mind could not exist. Similarly without the power, which is the source of the mind, the world won`t move as we see it in the law-bound world.  World and will are coexisting as the central elements determining the foundation of the existence of the universe. None precedes the other. They are eternally existing as the inevitable aspects behind all existence.

 So mind exists everywhere: It means that the power, which seeks to bind the world, is being contradicted by the power to seek freedom from the blind dictates, which bind all. More complex the organizations of the material world, more freedom emerges in the world. So more advanced becomes the stage of evolution. The living world represents a higher stage where mind starts emerging in a higher way. This higher way is the way to choose, collaborate, and cooperate in order to counteract the reality which imposes restrictions on movement and survival of life. The human life on Earth has advanced to the stage when it has developed languages, knowledge of the material world and means of communications with which it can attain independence from the dictates of the blind forces. They have learned to control the forces and developed methods of creating a new reality of life. Thus they have attained freedom to seek directions by using the power of contemplation of the mind. The mind has evolved to a stage when it can look back to itself and find the realms of higher realities.

       The mind, which has emerged  among the human beings, opens up many possibilities of creating realities depending on its power to sink deeper into itself and take control of the forces trying to direct the mind. This power resides in all. It can open up realms of experiences not known before and stimulate the mind into exploring realities which have no counterpart in the world experienced by an unenlightened mind. This power, which emerges through human brain, may bring forth experiences of a universe which is extremely vast and many times more than what a physical body can ever be aware of.  The energies, which flow together with the physical nature of the universe, as the force of the will existing in contradiction to the world, can stream forth through the physical space of the body, which in turn channels it through the mind. Through the so infinitesimally small human body one may thus be able to see and experience the mystery of the enormously vast universe.

       It is not the smallness of your physical state you should be worried about. The great mind rests in you in the time and space where you are bound. However, it does not know the bondage of time and space. Train your mind to receive the power of the great consciousness and let it flow through you. Then you will know what exists out in the vast sphere. When you open your mind to receive the greater consciousness the reality would transcend to a higher sphere. You will be able to see your connections with the entire universe and experience the transcendental power which can free the body from the bondage of space and time.

       Know that , in spite of your smallness, you possess the power to rise to the great mind and bring forth light, which may illumine others. Know that reality has many layers attached to the awareness of the world and the will. More you free yourself from the reality, which binds mind to the material state, more you will be  free to move in the greater and greater realms. Let the journey of life be a movement to the higher world where the cosmic mind tries to speak through you. This is the right goal for human life.  The way of living  in order to experience the higher realities of existence, which brings the consciousness of the oneness of all, is an enlightened path.
